Artist Bio
A minister by calling, a musician by default, Nelson Akogo was born in the mid 80s. He hails from Delta state but grew up in Lagos where he had his primary and secondary education, he then gained admission to the University of Benin where he graduated as a Pharmacist.
His music profession started in 2013 when he recorded 'NO WAYO' which was well received by gospel music lovers, with a video played by both local and international TV stations. He has just released his debut album 'THE REAL LIFE' which has tracks like 'Idiegwu', 'Jehovah Onyeoma', 'You're the One', 'Know You More', 'How far can you see' etc. Haven ministered in several conferences in youth churches, campus fellowships and beyond, he has been a channel of blessing to many. He has also shared the stage with the likes of Sammy Okposo, Rev. Victor Atenaga, Nikki Laoye and a host of others.
As a multi-instrumentalist, his live performances are electrifying, thrilling his audience with the keyboard, violin or the saxophone. A very vibrant soloist, he has also served as choirmaster and Choir Director at different levels in church
Nelson says that, he owes it all to God and has pledged his life to the ministry of the gospel through music. He is happily married to Obehi and they are blessed with a girl and a boy: Sophia and Stephan.
