Since after the release of the nomination list of what is becoming one of the most respected Gospel Music Awards in Nigeria, Crystal Awards some person have spoken up as regarding to the absence of certain notable names and works which were released within the specified window period. Some bloggers have also received calls  from different quarters mostly artistes and gospel music enthusiasts asking why certain persons didn't make the nominations list. The Organizing team is made up of highly respected industry stake holders who are very acquainted with whats happening in the gospel music industry, we believe that they must have an answer or a reason why such names didn't make it. notable of such names and works is Sinach and her hit song "I know who I am". The absence of this very popular song  brought some concerns and got us thinking if there are any reasons why she was not nominated. Gospel singer, Joi Mor has unveiled details of her forthcoming debut concert ‘DOXA’. The theme of this concert is DOXA (meaning glory). It is geared towards reaching out to souls through music, leading them to pure undiluted worship and to share the “Joi Mor dream”. She will also be releasing her new single as a follow up to ”Chim Oma’, which was widely accepted by the Gospel community in Nigeria and beyond.  Crystal Awards is here again and the Nominee Unveiling party took place yesterday at the Ivory Health Club, Allen Avenue, Ikeja. This 2015 Edition is tagged “Third Year of Inspiration”. The Nomination Committee tonight unveiled the final list of nominees for the 2015 edition of the annual awards at a nomination party that had several artistes and media practitioners present The Crystal Awards is an annual ceremony honoring excellence in the gospel music industry. Interestingly, this year, there would be no voting, as the winners of all 25 categories will be selected by the committee based on the agreed criteria. The major criteria for nominations this year is the release date of the works, which MUST be between January 2014 and January 2015. Artistes with the most nominations include Onos with 7 nominations, Glowreeyah Braimah (5), Frank Edwards (4) and Limoblaze 3.
